Dirty Beloved

With the ever increasing prevalence of booking services such as Sonicbids, one has to wonder about their relevance to indie bands.  On one hand they seem to offer access to a large number of opportunities which on the surface is appealing.  Upon closer examination though there seems to be no filtering mechanism and with the sheer number of applicants resulting from the open bidding process by all members, it can result in you being lost in the crowd.  There is also the questionable practice when events restrict applications only to these services.  To be honest, I’ve approached membership a few times now only to turn back before hitting that final submit with my credit card.  Something keeps holding me back each time.

What are your experiences with this?

It’s been awhile since we’ve been able to get an update out to you fine folks but rest assured we’ve been busy in the background getting ready for the upcoming release May 2, 2009.

If you’ve happened to visit within the last week you have probably noticed a change in the look and feel of the main site.  We are happy to announce that our new site is up and running to welcome in the official launch of the new CD.  Let us know what you think.  We’re hoping to add additional functionality in the coming weeks so please return often.

Let's rock

Wow just heard the Cd mastered, let’s just say me happy let’s rock. We are also working on a cd release party more to follow, as well as designing some cool T’s for ya.

So we are just about to send off the final mixes to finally be mastered. We cut the CD to 10 lean and mean tracks, it was fun coming with the track list as well. Time to rock…….
